Spark Rescue is an all volunteer, foster-only charitable animal rescue organization
that offers dog adoptions and cat adoptions in Santa Barbara, CA.

Spark Rescue has dogs in all shapes and sizes for adoption: mixes and purebreds, puppies, adult dogs, and senior, dogs. And we also have cats! All of our adoptable animals have been spayed/ neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on their vaccinations. Before you can adopt, we ask that you submit an application and, upon approval, an adoption contract. Our  suggested adoption donation helps to cover the expense of the animals in our care.

We are a non-profit, foster-only organization, and your tax deductible donations go directly towards making better lives for all our animals.

By sharing your home and love for a few weeks with a rescue animal, you will ease the transition from the stressful, scary shelter environment to a future loving forever home. Being part of that transition is one of the most rewarding experiences an animal lover can have.
